Course that teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants
Course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. Skills covered in this course include first aid; choking relief in adults, children, and infants; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants.
The BLS Course trains healthcare providers to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Relief of choking adult, child and infant also taught in ths course.
American Heart Basic Life Support Certification for Health-care Provider
Students who have completed the online portion of the BLS and only require skills demonstration
This advanced course focuses the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
Students who have not completed the ACLS course or those without a current ACLS card
Students with an active card who are up for renewal in the near future
Students who have completed the academic portion of the course (exam) and only need to complete the skill portion
Instructor-led course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.

Training classes are unique and tailored to each facilities' needs. Classes will be taught by a professional in the field with over 20 years of experience. After each class is taught students will receive a detailed check off sheet and a certificate which can be placed in their file for compliance and completion purposes.
These detailed specific classes will ensure that students will be proficient in donning and removing the mask effectively. Students will also become familiar with the proper settings of the device along with appropriate trouble shooting capabilities.
A detailed seminar on the proper techniques or caring for a tracheostomy. Training includes proper suctioning, cleaning of the tracheostomy site and stoma, and emergency management.
These detailed specific classes will ensure that students will be proficient in donning and removing the mask effectively. Students will also become familiar with the proper settings of the device along with appropriate trouble shooting capabilities.
Training provided by Epicc Vascular Southeast Texas. After each class is taught students will receive a detailed check off sheet and a certificate of completion which can be placed in their file for compliance and completion purposes.
Students will learn anatomical considerations of central line placement, complications, dressing changes, proper flushing technique, and changing caps. Students will get hands on training to start peripherally inserted IVs.
